Recently i swapped my project e30 318i for this 1982 e21 323i.

The car came with a BBS front spoiler, BBS 13x6 mags, Mahle 13x6 mags x6, BBS rear spoiler, 3.5 LSD, a complete set of spare suspension and front brakes, king springs, Bilstein rear shocks, BOGE short throw front struts.

The springs and struts have found their way into my road e21 after having the struts rebuilt recently.

The project sits on the pedders/ gabriel rubbish out of the roadie while it sits in the shed.

First up is the body work, which i'm slowly plugging away at.

i have a set of triple 45mm DCOE webers that will need some sorting out yet, a pair of racing seats and a sports steering wheel to go on.

The car doesn't go cos the kjet system has been removed and I'm of two minds about bothering to refit it to get the car registered before i go bananas with a 2.7 with DCOE webers conversion.

Looks like a good project.

Mine is going to be set up for street and track, im going to go as fas as i can legally, remove the rear seats, roll cage , racing seats.

I have king springs and Boge short stroke heavy duty shocks.

i also have poly eurethane bushes all round and as i said before i will get another run of them made if there is enough interest.

I think triple 45's might be an overkill on a 2.7 , but i guess you could jet it down.

My advice would be to get it running on k-jet and go from there.

+1

I don't think you could get small enough chokes for 45s. But I wouldn't know...
