Greetings to everybody!
My name is Mihajlo, I'm from Croatia, Koprivnica.
So here is story....
9 months ago I bought e21 315 with duble carb from 318.
Car (as you can see) is in mild rusty condition.
Now, 9 months later, nothing's changed, except fiew better parts arived for my ride...
This is my car (I call him Helga)
this is upgrades I bought...
Later I got rear side windows (tinted green) and everything what is needed for rear e21 disc conversion.

Yesterday Helga's gone to see dr. Mech-anic and she's been momentarily hospitalized...
Doctor said she's gonna be MOT ready in 60 days.

Hi Mihajlo,
Nice to see you are going to keep her alive, what engine is that?

My mechanic is really man for that job!
If he said it will be M.O.T. ready in 60 days, I belive him!
At the moment this is e21 315 (1.6l 75HP engine)
Engine ready for fitting in Helga is from other e21 323i.
When engine has been taken from that 323, car had real 110 000km on clock so I belive engine is in mint condition including 5 speed override transmission.
Everything that is currently missing on Helga I get spare or will get very soon...

Did you remove the windshield too? Dont wanna be a pita, but almost sure youll find rust underneath there! And its worth the repair too, dont forget tor replace the windshield rubber when replacing..
Good luck

we looked under the rubber and there is no, or very little rust.
but, yeah, we'll fix that aswell....
I'm not so sure for changing rubber because this rubber is stil softish...
or is it better to change it anyway?
tell me besause I dont want to have water when raining...
