Well after buying the first 323 only to find it was suffering from car cancer and then buy the 316 as a donor body I found a 323I that was in good enough condition to use straight away.

I only came to find this one after a friend emailed the details of it to me so I made a call to the guy selling it and arranged to go and have a little look and to cut a long story short I bought it :D

So its a 323i auto that has only covered 82k miles and the last owner had owned it for about 20 years. Condition wise its one of the best original cars I've seen and only needs very minor bits to make it near on mint condition.

So heres a few pics of it and how its changed since I've had it. It was on standard 13" alloys when I picked it up but I had a set of 15" alpina's which went pretty much straight on as soon as I got home. Its been lowerd 60/40 although I think the front springs may have been for a 4 cylinder so I'll have to change them again.

Since the Retro Riders meet I've changed the wheels for a set of cross spoke 7.5x15 alloys and a Alpina front lower spolier. I'd like to get rid of the rear boot spoiler at some point as it doesn't quite look right but that'll be a job for the winter.

So this is a couple of pics from the Brands meet tonight.

There we have it for now, I've got a recaro interior and some other bits still to be fitted so I'll update it soon with any luck.

Well congrats! Apart from the spoiler on the boot it looks great!

Lucky you... I'm only bumping into E30's that are worth considering!

Looks great, loved it at the RR show. Drooled over the alpinas, but the BBS look good too.

What happened to the alpina wheels?, i think they look nicer on the car!! also where was that picture taken?, looks familier...

Keep that spoiler... the car looks faster with it on, on who knows if you drive faster it may serve its purpose

Cheers for the comments.

The wheels are actually Ronal LS, and i changed from the Alpinas as i really like e21's with cross spoke alloys. i still have the Alpinas will keep them just incase i change me mind (or me Brother wants his wheels back...)

Jimi, the first two pictures were taken at Retro Rides (Gaydon) this year and the last two were taken just by the Kentagon at Brands Hatch last night (the prept meet).

So it's been decided the spoiler will be re-fitted to the bin.. the recaros will go in, drop the back a little more to lose the drag car look...
