Little update here! The LSD appeared to be suffering from a worn ring and pinion set so we're looking for a replacement 3.64 set. For the time being the 3.45 LSD will be fine. After the major service preparing for the 2015 Alps trip which went brilliant, there's not much to be desired I guess, think I might want to fit a 72 degree thermostat to stay on the safe side but that's about it. Ready for the upcoming MOT I guess.
Upgrades? How about a power antenna for the original location by the front windscreen? May become a winter project but I'll make sure to post a video once fitted. Nice rare option together with the gear lever lock!
One big project that has been on the to do list ever since I got the car is replacement of the convertible roof. Planning to have that done by Clemens Klein in Pohlheim (Germany) just having some problems synchronizing the schedules, before you know it we might postpone it for yet another year haha! Anyway, CK Cabrio are very experienced with (E21) Baurs and I feel that may be a good choice to get a perfect roof.

Well I'm sorry but that is useless info at this was back in 2009, different market and benefiting from a much more favorable exchange rate. At the moment the going price for a comparable Baur probably is from 16k euros upwards.

Minimum! Yours is 20k+
Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car. Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall. Torque is how far you take the wall with you.

Indeed, it was a good investment

Visit to Clemens Klein (CK Cabrio, Germany) to fi-nal-ly have the Baur softtop replaced, that was already past its due date when I bought it in 2009 haha. Also had the rest of the Sonnenland cloth replaced, on the targa roof insert, above the windscreen and on the rollbar.
End result, very happy!

Thanks guys!
Oh and a shot I forgot to share, in the French Alps back in 2015
Well, I may have too many cars to take to the event so the Baur might not make it after all, but we'll see. Current line up to bring by Ite and myself is E21 316 Henna, E3 2500 Chamonix and E23 732i Bronzit.Duracel79 wrote:Looking lovely and fresh there Jeroen, almost like you're getting ready for a brilliant show
