Hi my name's David, as as my username implies, I'm a huge E21 fan. I'm onto my third one now:
The first (no photos at present) was a red 323i which I had to scrap and the second one was, well, a red 323i (not by design, just happened to come up in Auto reader)

which had all the bits (Recaros, LSD, BBS wheels, Ansa exhaust).
A lovely car.
Until some muppet in a Micra rear-ended me:

...and legged it. The car drove onto the lowloader with it's head held high while the Micra had to effectively be picked up with a dustpan & broom.
But my heartbreak was short-lived when this beauty turned up:

It's actually a 320 with (knackered) 323i running gear, but future plans include a built 2.5 lump (no 2.7 thank you,I like my engines to rev), totally refreshing the running gear and fitting all the goodies I've accumulated over the years.
Hope y'all like it.

Nice. Where in London are you? roughly?

Are you sure a Nissan Micra did that. That looks like the work of a European car and not some tinnie Japaneese car.

You know... a lil' bondo, a lil' polish and that would buff right out. Errrr..., maybe not.

Just curious -- did you put the steel wheels on in the front in anticipation of getting rear-ended by a Micra that day?

Well, we were both on a dual carriageway and doing about 50, so the laws of physics took over and did the rest. The pic of the car was on the day when it was being transported to my workshop, the one BBS was still on the car as the damage meant I couldn't get a steelie and 70-series tyre on (the 50-series on the BBS was shredded through to the carcass), but an angle grinder soon sorted that out...

The world's only E21 compact? That's not a photoshop trick, more a Bosch grinder trick! Boy, it was fun to drift it like that, with no weight over the rear wheels and a LSD...
