Hi guys just bought this little beauty off ebay. Does anybody have any pitfalls with the body I need to look for while I restore it

Sweet looking Baur!

Leather would look better in black or dark blue I reckon. (just my opinion - obviously its a personal thing

)

Clear front indicators

Convert to manual and fit a Weber carb.

Just watch out for rust everywhere but I think the guy who sold it did a pretty thorough body restoration.

In person the grey leather suits it nicely but I take your point. Clear indicaters are on the way as soon as I find them.

oh yeah...I do have a five speed sitting down to put in and the plan is to go for the triple webber set up from fritzs
