If you are stuck with a mech hand brake, the rear drums are bigger than the rear disks in terms of hand brake power

Thanks for advice on pad choice. DS2500s seem to be the pad of the moment. I've been advised these for my other toys as well.If you too encounter problems good suggestions from own experience are Ferodo DS2500/3000
Carbs are 40DCOEs on a 1602ti manifold (I think). I don't wan't an all out race engine. Torque is the key. Lots of fiddly little bits to change to fit them, but no big dramas. They haven't been set up on the rollers yet, just guessimated. No point until the Manifold & exhaust go on. Zorst can't be done until the fuel tanks are moved.... etc etc.....What kind of Webers are those?
Hydraulic handbrakes are not allowed, so I'll have to stick with drums for now.are you not allowed to use a hydraulic handbrake?

You could never know how much I never want to work with that material ever again. I just couldn't get it to cut cleanly. It either flexes away from the tool, or digs in and climbs out of the chuck. I used £60 worth of material for the front end.you dont fancy doing some more bushes for the front do you?
If anyone knows how to work with this material, I'd love to know.
When the car goes back on the road next month, and if it feels right, then maybe..........

Postman's been
Postman arrived today with a nice parcel from Germany.
Should stop most of the rock damage. Right pain to change the oil though.
I must say, the fit is excellent, it went on in 10 minutes.
