Yes roundel. Alex let me have a good look round his collection of racecars. What a collection he has! And he was more than happy to let me get some pictures and post them for your pleasure. He`s a top bloke. Tell me jason, do you actually have group 5 moulds?

I`ll take that as a no then. Alex (your friend) was very surprised to hear that you had the bodykit as you had been pestering him even up to recently, and his moulds are in shropshire and you`ve had nothing from him! But i seen previous threads where you say you have them. :D

Hi

I have several of the panels and have been talking to Alex on and off for a few years about the missing bits and leads that did not payoff, I did get the group 2 moulds and panels and made and lost a few hundred quid selling the panels, then the company with the moulds recently went bust so i have lost them also.

When the subject of group 5 moulds has come up I admit i have bigged it up to try and get some interest first before making the moulds (based on the loses from the group 2 bits) you need to panel the car (30 year grp sags) fix the panels, sort the shut lines, prep the car and repaint it then take a set of moulds which i cannot do in my shed so I was quoted 10k to make a of moulds and even trying to get 5 people it would have worked out about 5k each at that price maybe only 2 people paid more than lip service.

Since I started tracking down gruppe 5 parts time has moved on. Jason in Shropshire along with Nigel (and back to Alex) started to make a group 5 replica which by default has the backing of a professional motorsport company. So I gave them the details of the company in Germany i had found recently who had started to make panels, to help find the missing bits they needed. Also the German charges about 4k for a kit but the "Shropshire Cartel" reckon they can can do it better quality and cheaper.

So you right I don't have a set off moulds and if any body has contacted who is serious I have given them Nigels detials, but there will soon be a set and anybody with enough dosh can buy a full set of panels, but you probably know that already

Hello Jason
I am a share holder of a composites company and can definately help with the group 5 bodykit because we will be building a group 5 replica in carbon fibre and the quality of our nwork is second to none. As for price and doing the work i dont think you will find a better opportunity to build a group 5 than now and i think if we work together on this i would be more than happy to make the kit and provide any assistance you need without it costing the earth. Alex will be getting the stuff back off "the shropshire cartel" and we are taking delivery of the latest state of the art machinery mid december which wil enable us to do this in a very cost effective way. We are making various panels for Alex at the moment for the csl and i think i have your telephone number so let me know if you want me to call you or just pm me and we can take this to the next stage. Cheers :D
