hi all.. this is my first bimmer. i have been a vw dork for a long time and wanted to try something different. so i scored this.. my 78' 320i its a rust free cali car. its got 114k on it. and i got it from the 2nd owner. i have had it for about 3 or 4 months now and have been taking care of small things first. i'm a firm beleiver of making a solid base to start from before modding it..
since i've got it i have done:
plugs, wires, cap, and rotor
front brakes
air filter
clean the crap out of it (top and bottom)
respray certain trim items
old nardi steering wheel and shift knob
set timing
set valves
bumper tuck
new rear exhaust
and some other things i can't remember
i have a box of engine parts to install that i can't find the time to do.(water pump, belts, etc)
anyways on with the goods.

back from the dead bump... got a few things done as you can see..
16x8 RS's with slant lips all around..and some euro bumpers. and some coils to slam it down.

did a wire tuck and relocated the battery.
before and after for ya.

nardi wheel and shift knob.. recaros from a MK2 VW. getting recovered in the next month or two..
getting the engine bay finished up soon with some paint work and some bike carbs...
after that is paint and body work..
enjoy.

Your car looks very nice!!And it is for sure a great base for starting a project.
I like the colour as well, (especially as it is the same as on my car

)
Really good!!
Don't you think you've dropped it too much? How is the ride at this height?Looking cool but how about bumps and/or potholes?

Nice car with nice mods
Have you tinted the rear lights, or are they all red from factory?

thanks guys...
not sure how far its lowered.. maybe like 4 inches or so.. the suspension is cheap ass slip on coilovers up front and some cheap ass VW MK1 rabbit coilovers on the rear... the rear rides great but front is all the way down and rides like ass.. doesnt matter to me cuz i only drive it on the weekends..
and i sprayed the tails with model paint and cleared over them..
thanks again guys.
