Tell me more. I'm not sure what you mean.(my english...) I thought there were more. Numbers 5420001-5431989 made 3/76-8/77. +California models+Automatics. But how about 320i lhd(European) 8/77-4/78,made ONE HUNDRED. :!:

What are the plans for mods? Uprated suspension maybe, or a complete colour change? That looks like either Topaz or Sienna brown, neither was a great colour (imo) :D
I'd go for Golf yellow on a set of the 14 inch Alpina wheels. Mint. :P
It's Topas and naturally it stays. Sienna was available 75-76(e21). Of course I have some mods in my mind. Those black Recaros (in this car from new),interior color change to black, opened rearsidewindows(clear),overdrive getrag240,BBS RA,rearbrakes from 323i... I have also airconditioning, but it's little newer and for m20. So I might forget it. I have many months time to think those details.

Yes,this is my hobby. It has nothing to do with economical. Have you seen many original lhd e21 320i (European, with m64) lately?
I don't... And,yes,manufactured almost 20 000 cars,where are they all?
I just don't count euros only enjoy BMW.
i couldnt have put it better! :D the e21 is getting into the classic stage of life now and just breaking another with a good body seems like a hell of a waste to me, i am doing a very similar project but thankfully my car was nowhere near as bad as yours, i take my hat off to you sir your doing a brilliant job now get off the internet and back into the garage and finish that e21 so we can see her all finished!! :D well done mate you must be very pleased with yourself! how many hours have you spent so far?

OLE97P! wrote:Yes it was. It was orange and was a carburettor model not the 320i. Autocar had it from BMW's press fleet in 1976/7 and gave it back in return for a 323i.

I have the logbook for it here! I ran it very briefly in @ 1989 but it was pretty knackered by then.
Did your car live in Maidstone, Kent? If it did, although I never owned it, I know a man that did!

you did the job!
I checked what you did without eye blink!

wish I have so many new parts.... :(
how much € did you spend only on parts?
Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car. Oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall. Torque is how far you take the wall with you.
