I thought that about the manifold myself. If I can get a genuine 190 / 200 bhp I'll be happy enough Jason. I don't actually need massive power to enjoy my car anyway. I'm planning to fit my cam next month so I'll see how things go then.

Have gone right through the whole inlet side and checked for air leaks etc and sorted a problem with the barn door in the AFM. It was over fueling at idle and also high in the rev band but it's pretty much spot on right through now.
I've had to go back to standard ECU chip as the Racing Dynamics one has fried along with the ECU it was in? I tried the chip I got from you last year too but just couldn't get it to run right either. In the end, it was just easier to revert to standard until I can bin the Motronic all together.

Something smells fishy mate, check the connections on the motro plug see if it aint damp or anything e.t.c.causing the effect of what happened!! motronic is a basic and easy diagnosis to be honest, shouldnt be hard to go thru the loom ..... jsaon has got a point with remap and also as i did once say its no point stand alone on a 325 engine mate, your just wasting money, your car will need rollers and re-map costing more money, get yourself a MAF (miller) with war chip and be done, i have loads of maps i can email you e.t.c. if your not happy with one then slelct switch to another.....

Yes, m3gaz sorted me out and they're being fitted in a couple of weeks. The guys at RPM are up to their necks with getting cars ready for the new season hence the delay. They've got me the kit to make my rear subframe adjustable too. Plus I need all the poly bushes fitted. I'm also hoping my adjustable ARB's will have arrived by then.

Hey Mark, I see your motor is in Total BMW.

Are you going for the guiness "magazine" record.

Havn't read it yet, but the flick through looked impressive
