Last night I was trying to take out the car for a spin I applied the reverse gear which went in fine and when I tried to put the car in first gear the lever did came back the gear didn't now situation is gear lever is in middle like in neutral position and gear is stuck in reverse.
Please Help and put some more cying icon like crying and banging your head to the floor.

And the lever feels like it's moving freely? Could be something has come off making the connection between lever and gearbox, could be as simple as a 5 cents circlip

From underneath. There's not much room but just enough to get to it... don't forget to bring a torch
and let us know what exactly broke!

I had to take the tranny out and give it to a specialist to fix it. But my car was much driven and beaten by previous owner. I still pray before putting my car in reverse
. I hope yours got fixed easily.
