andy i have gained access to a fork lift at dhesi's alcohol imporium and the use of all there tools aswell
last night i stripped the inlet manifold of the new engine and wiring and the ports are big size which is a good start, just gotta take few other bits off and give it a lick of paint and then start thinking bout getting existing m10 out of its shell.
picking up wheels tonight/tomorrow so will get those done ASAP and then the shell is rolling so can take it down the road and start work on the old girl.
engine bay needs a bloody good clean no matter what!!!! so much gunk from the old engine. one big problem at the mo is the exhaust system which i cant seem to get off at the manifold or the head. its been on there farrrrrrr to long!!!!!!!!!!!
need some andrew power to get it off i think

very nice
i do prefer the alpina stripes when they are outlined.
i think gloss black on the centres would look the nuts

right, time for a little update
went to pick up the rims other night, got more than i thought

11 centers and enough rims and barrels to build whatever i want

these 2 pics are of the shiniest rims but these dishs are far too small. to fill my massive archs i am flipping the rear drums round to give me my required 8" from hub to dish
ben and hannah and myself spent about 3 hours last night stripping the wheels down and this is what my 4 wheels will look like. the fronts have the same dish but slightly less offset.

because of dirt and pitting on the barrels i cant polish them so going to be black centers with a white painted lip. not to everyones taste but i think will look great
adaptors arrived this morning so will have some wheel on pics when i get the chance
