Cool wheels :D Can you not get them professionally polished no? TBH dishes need to be polished for maximum effect.

I wish i would have been living in UK .... i have been reading the full project you are doing to you E-21, actually i`m impressed .... if we have had the chance in Egypt to find spare parts like those you are using .... we would have made a rocket E-21 i guess.

Well done and keep updating us with all the progress :D

well i have made a decision. only just got back from racing today and being as i have to change an engine in 2 weeks time for polishing will have to wait. i have enough spare barrels to create a set of painted dishs which i can run on at the momment and then polish another set when the time comes gonna spray the whole center and dish gloss black as this will keep the race car feel and will add a bit or red rim tape aswell. should look good and will get on that when im back at home

well i have given my 2 anodized wheels to the valeter at work and let him loose on them but i have however found 2 more non anodized rims so i will polish them i think. have sanded down 4 anodeized rims anyway ready for paint aswell so i have a choice.

engine change is happening on sunday afternoon and continuing through monday so with a bit of luck will have a bimmer runnin again by the end of next week, ready for RTTS and hopefully best non VW trophy at the show

oh and its not the nice TSI engine its just an e30 M10 but should give me a bit more poke with the larger valves on the webbers and a head gasket that doesnt leak everywhere

sanded down the centers with hannahs help last night, ready for gloss black paint. also managed to undo the slightly rounded manifold to downpipe bolt on the head so got the head of my existing engine and ben sorted out all the rest of the electrickery. next stage for me is to remove all the gearbox bolts, undo the engine mounts and get the rad out the way as its a little bit attached still. then its switcharo the engine parts across onto the new engine and look about getting them in and out.
