I'm interested to see what sort of power you're going to get out of one of these. I've always wanted to turbo an M10, I've even got the engines to do it

If you need the odd M10 bit I have several motors to pick from.

well its gonna be a case of trial and error, gonna start with ising a decompression plate to lower the compression as its the cheapest option and lets be honest there are soooo many m10's available if i break one just go to the next one.

so what final widths and offsets will you be running, and how thick are the adaptor plates?

and im almost scared to ask, but what size tyres are you gonna stretch over these bad boys...

right, the wheels are 9.5 j fornt and 10j rear with rear having a larger positive offset so more poke on the rear.

tyres will be 225 45 16 on rear and 215 on the front so should look pretty good, only a tiny bit of stretch, got bored of constantly having to refit the tyres on the banded steelies

oh and here is a pic of the wheel centers sprayed matt black, just wiating for the gloss black paint to turn up and then its laquer time and rebuild

Rad looking wheels man! that thing is looking wild. will be very cool to see how much power you get. m10s seem to love a turbo!

new engine is all in, done a few service items and bits n bobs and tried to fire her up....... didnt fire :(

cant get the timing sorted yet :(. gonna have another crack at it tommorow night. got some nice backfiring though. thing is none of the carbs are balanced and not timed and its tricky getting all the things to work at same time.

paint arrived today :) once engine is running can get round to spraying it :)

got engine running,

found the reason why she wasnt running, the spark plugs had the wrong tips on them so the leads where not locating onto the plugs, unfortunatly when i checked this the first time i only checked plug 1 which had the right end on it so i ruled it off. whoops. still its got 4 plugs new dizzy cap and roter and she runs alright :).

webbers are still causing interesting running issues. it idles a lot better but still pisses around a bit. revs nicely though with the bigger valve head.

just need a throttle cable now and whoop away she goes. (please see wanted add for 323i throttle cable)

wheels are now gloss black so just waiting to get some silicone and then i can build them and fit some new boots to them, will require a little arch modification to get clearance i think now but nothing i cant handle.

all paint has arrived so that can be done now atleast this weekend. and have nice shiny car

oh and still need road tax :( and fuel and then woooooooo baby its run to the sun. wont be a couple o pics on here till after wknd now so you get the final product :)
