No I have a wheel to get wrapped, but haven't gotten around to it. See the answer below as to priority of car projects :)
M15KYY wrote:awesome fella, im a stance man and you've got it perfect there, its about time you joined the forum :D houndstooth trim is a class idea! any plans for the car in the future?
Thanks.

I have a supercharger on the shelf. I need to finish my custom intake manifold and such. The wife's car gets done next though. She has a 72 Bavaria with triple side draft.

Bavaria should look great with a few tweeks. Any hints you can give as to your plans?
I had an e3 last year but they are so rare here in the UK and although I think it would have looked great slammed onto some wide steels, I let it go to someone who really wanted an e3 to keep mint and original. Are they more common in the US?

Silver surfer, no disrespect mate, but whats the "badest" about the car apart from good paint work? car is nice but nothing that much to drool over.. paint work is baddest.. love that.

J[/quote]

None taken Alpina, taste is that it's an individual thing so it's only normal that not every one's gonna love the car. For me though aside from the paint, I love the wheels, the custom interior, the engine bay, the trim (houndstooth effect is great), the stance, the single headlight conversion, the avoidance of using all the 'standard' mods - some sort of front air dam (be that alpina, bbs or zender), the 'standard' wheels (mims, bbs', or alpina reps) etc etc. Generaly it's the most original e21 that I've seen *(beyond just the colour), It takes balls to take your car in a different direction and to have it all come together so well...

That's why I think it's the baddest e21 on the block, though your car's great too in it's own way, there's always room for innovation and something different, and this car's nailed it in my opinion.

I love this look it really is the way to go apart from "suttle" I think. the quality and workmanship really seems to be top notch, fair play.

Can i have that rear end you cut out, it looks to good to throw out

Sorry to bump an old thread. Just thought you guys might appreciate seeing the ol E21 on the move and traversing my new driveway B-Curb. FUN! Wife is behind the drivers wheel of the E21. She loves piloting the thing.

Let me know if you are tired of me keeping all the content about my car in this thread. I just figured it would keep the clutter down on your forum. You all might recognize the tune in the video as well.
