Yup, phpbb's own forum is always a useful and bigggg resource... there's so much more I can do, especially with this new forum version. Still busy with other boring stuff like work so changes take some time but I think the most important stuff is installed. Need to look into the skins thing. Any other suggestions?

A separate Gallery for uploading pics; sometimes it's nice to look at pictures without having to wade through a build/show thread. I know that vBulletin has this feature but I believe it can be done on PHPBB too.

What works different at this setup is that when i use an internetlink from a post it does not open in a new screen but replaces the forum.

I was used to close the internetlink and be back at the forum but now it closes the forum also.

am I the only one having problems with the search function? it doesn't work (properly) anymore....

Ok my view:

- separate gallery: don't have the webspace for that and there are enough websites that can provide that service (and we can link to these), hope you don't mind
- links opening in same window: that is annoying, will look into that
- search is being re indexed as we speak, should be much better this afternoon

There's a whole story behind links opening in the same window and it seems quite a job to correct this in every possible way (the regular mod does not apply to existing posts grrr) so for now you'll have to stick to middle click or right click...

What is available:

Prosilver - new official board style
Subsilver - like in the olden days
Red steel
Charcoal
Skyline

How to set: go to 'User control panel' then click tab 'Board preferences' where you can select 'My board style'

Submit and refresh by hitting 'Board index' and find out which one you like best...
