m10 - Which Headset? SORTED NOW

Hi all.

I have a 1983 1.8 e21. Im currently in the process of mildly porting and polishing an E30 1.8i (1984) head to fit.

I dont seem to be able to locate the correct headset, so far ive had 2 (both from gsf). The exhaust and inlet gaskets all seem to be the wrong size, too small and too round, and the stud pattern on the exhaust is wrong.

The ports on my head are more oval/squarer and approx: ex - 40 x 30mm, and in - 45 x 35mm.

Can anybody shed any light on this please, or have any more detailed ifor on headset codes?
There also seems to be a massive price variation too ranging from £35 - £170.?

Thanks in advance. I need to get this finished and on as im currently using 0.5l of water every 20miles.
