Quaife ATB
Re: Quaife ATB
nah, by the time u pay shipping n import tax n waited ages, u will have to rebuild it. thats if the one in the link is the correct one?
the quaife costs lots, but if you want to just do donuts in mc donalds car park then just weld the diff. although the quaife will allow you to do that too. i bought my quaife cos i like having plenty of grip, and its good on the street, will be cool for the odd drift, and its brand new - lifetime warranty, bolt on etc..
what engine you running? this all might be pointless on a stock m10 lol

I don't think that one will fit.

Re: Quaife ATB
a welded diff is as simple as it gets. a 2 way 100% lsd.
to be fair to its awsomeness, you should pay more for a welded one than you do for a quaife! but you dont......... its free!!!!!!!!!!!!
you shout about how lsds are made for track work, whereas welded diffs are purly for hooligans. ive got £50 here says you cant loose me round a track.

Murran as i reckon that your the bmwe21.net drifting master, your £50 is pretty safe.
If i had a car i didnt really care about pranging then for sure id just weld the diff up and be done with it. free is always gonna win!

The Group C cars often had solid diffs in them, and they where loud n very fast.
