UK on tour
It's way off yet I know, but it could be quite a crack going over to Holland and next years Sharknose Event. Who'd be up for it? If we actually plan it and maybe even book the ferry / tunnel or whatever, in advance, we could save some money.
Would anyone be interested?

Re: UK on tour
Well Mark I'd be up for it again, we had a grt time at Wepep where this years sharknose meet was, ur right it would great if we have a convoy from the UK, as for the ferry-£15 each way so not that bad, the drive itself is great cruising between 70/100 takes 3 n half to 4hrs. My cars an auto so it's a bit more juicy at just over 3 tanks So come on guys n gal let's get it on in 2011RetroBeemer wrote:It's way off yet I know, but it could be quite a crack going over to Holland and next years Sharknose Event. LMAO. Tommy wat you telling us! welded diffs increase fuel consumption how exactly. are you saying that your gonna drive sideways alllll the way there!
eh how come u have just one tank?I'm guessing two tanks wouldhave made your car far too practical?

Re: UK on tour
It was the reason the car wasn't holding fuel or running. Big gash in the passenger side tank.nas80 wrote:june is no problem! more than likely I will go.

I'm in.If you're a BMWCCGB member there are discounts available with P&O,Seafrance and Accor Hotels.
I've taken advantage of them for years.Accor is also Sofitel,Pullman,Novitel,Mercure,All Seasons and Barriere hotels.Discounts and offers galore.Maybe thats why i'm a club member.....i'm a tight git!
I recently spoke to a guy who went to a Corvette weekend in Wezep and he said its a great little venue.I think he said he stayed in Zwoll(?).

Re: UK on tour
The Sharknose meeting 2011 will be held on the 4th of june.
Maybe it will not be held in Wezep again because they are expecting to many cars (twice as much as last years event).
It would be nice to meet you guys!
