The seats brand is "WIECHERS", it can fit with a little modification to the original seat consol.

They really suit the e21 interior. Resemble Scheel seats too.

Beautiful project! And the questions keep coming haha... what front suspension and struts are you using? Did that require many modifications?

Thank you!
Do you mean this front suspension? :D

Ok I am just joking.
The front spring plate was removed. Made a 5mm bigger tube with thread and weld it on the original tube.
Made a custom plate up and down. Made a custom rubber "spacer" (I dont know how is it called sorry)
between the plate and the spring. I used shortened Mercedes spring. Renewed Bilstein shock-absorber.

i was wondering what you use for rear axle? i think you used e30 diff / axle?

did you use the m20 gearbox or the m52?

- The control arm is original e21 without mod.
- The real axle is original e21 only the the e21 diff has two hangers.
Image
- The gearbox is original e21 only the installed position is a bit rotated.

nicely done. I like how every nut and bolt is new.

so did you use the m20 engine mountsor did you make new mounts?

also Is your oil pan very close to the ground on one side? did you make a new oil pan?

sorry for all the questions, but I'm very interested as I also put an m50 in my e21... everybody who has done this conversion has done it slightly differently.

As this is a LHD car, no booster, steering linkage etc to worry about the engine can sit at the correct angle without having to worry about the sump i would think? Interesting that you are still able to use the e21 gearbox, although slightly rotated.

The engine mounts are custom made.
The oil pan is horizontal, that is why the gearbox is rotated.
The gearbox linkage is also modified to made a shift linkage straight inside the cabine.
I am already looking for a 6 speed gearbox :D
