lowering springs?

Post by chase94 »

i have a 1980 320i, im replacing the shocks and struts and im thinking about getting 1" lowering springs. the problem is, im buying BBS RS 15x7 rims, and im not sure if the lowering springs will make them rub the fender. have any of you done this?

You should be fine with just 1 inch lower.

Yeah, I have also 15x7 at the moment, and no problem with my lower APEX springs which lowerer the car about 4 cm (1 inch and a half)-I don't know if this matters however, but my shocks are for normal height springs, not for lower ones.

What size tyres are you putting on? I've got 15x7 BBS with 205/55's and 40 mm lower and there's no problem with rubbing.
