Can any one tell me what this little disk is?

I found this little disk stuck to the welsh plug on the front of an 885 head i have, what does it mean?



Whats it for?

I have a 731 head and it doesn't have one.

What does writing say? I can't make it all out.

I think it says guarantee void if removed. Presumably put there when some work was done in the past to show if it was tampered with.

Brother in law told me about these little disc/stamp things they use on some of their engines they sell (big japanese wrecker). Basically its designed that if it gets really hot, something happens to the spot which gives them an idea what happened if a customer came back and said something had siezed or the head had cracked, etc, they can tell if the customer overheated it.

He wasnt taking the piss and I cant think of the name of the things, so might be one of these things? he reckons they are real cheap insurance.
