New car colour (new mirrors)
Re: New car colour (safari beige)
That 2002 is awesome
Ive got an old roof rack i may get re-chromed.
As for the wheels, i may try and get some replica Alpinas and make those white.
I do like the look, but wont want to change my existing Alpinas.

You could get the same look if you used MiMs. Paint can easily be removed anyway no matter what wheels you use.
Re: New car colour (safari beige)
Ive took a couple of photos. The weather is terrible so the car has not come out great.
Bought an old roof rack i may get re-chromed at some point.

Looks lovely! I even sort of like the roof rack! Are you doing anything to the interior?
Re: New car colour (safari beige)
Cheers mate
I'd love to swap my seats for some retro recaro type, but i wouldnt know where to start. Not even sure what runners mine are on.
Im also reluctant to throw too much money at it now.

I'd just enjoy it for now if I were you. You can always think about swapping seats and stuff further down the line if that's what you decide to do.

Re: New car colour (safari beige)
Good call with the 316 badge. I'd have done the same if there was no spoiler in the way.
Is your exhaust very loud? I'm looking around at silencers for my silver car and yours look good. They're about as big as I would want to go though.

Best part of the car is the sound of the exhaust system.
Mobster probably knows more about it than i do, i think he has the same.
Anyone know the best adhesive to use for refitting the boot seal? i tried contact adhesive, wasnt great.

Re: New car colour (safari beige)
Probably better to wait for a warm, sunny day before bonding boot seals on. Unless you have a toasty workshop you can use? Contact adhesive is shite on cold days.
