hmmm...ummm... :?

If i recall there were 3 black wires in the e21 engine loom, i don't know what pin i used on the fuse box, i just used the most logical choice after I tagged everything up.

Sorry i can't be more useful.

Well its been weeks ...nay months since I posted on my build thread, I've reached a crossroads.

My e34 shat its water pump and being strapped for time and a tight ass i slotted it into the shed and put the baby seat in my e21 while i waited for the water pump to turn up for a weekend install.

I've spent the week driving around in the e21 sometimes with the entire family (wife's corolla was at the panel beaters for 4 days) all the time knowing my car wasn't 100%, i aired my concerns to a mate and he told me flat out to bin it as in good nick the car wouldn't be much good in a crash let alone the state its in now.

As seen in the pic above I had a chassis rail collapse while i was using it as a jacking point, i don't know whether this would have happened with any e21 but its happened and in conjunction with two decent sized rust holes in the chassis rails in the engine bay in my mind a reshell will be in order to give me peace of mind again.

Esp since i exposed the body to limed roads a couple of times when it was my daily driver I can't help but think its days are number either way.

On a brighter note there is a orange 323i for sale in the wider Brisbane area that could be worth a look.

thoughts?

opinions?

No the car won't be getting parted out.

First thought is always use a wooden block to spread the load when jacking up on area like that. If its as bad as you say, I would go take a look at the orange car before considering repairs.
