This one's not too old, believe there are 3 episodes of this. But the older Ken Block stuff is good as well, liked his performance in Top Gear as well!

+1. Walter Röhrl, Stefan Bellof he ain't. As far as stunt drivers go, our own Russell Swift would give him a run for his money.austin25uk wrote:yeah but he sucks at rally driving lol

I really can't get excited about Ken Block videos. After all he's in a carpark or similar going round some plastic cones.
I even saw a poll recently where Ken Block was voted best driver ever...i mean FFS!!!
These boys are the true driving legends:
Walter rohl, Stig Blomqvist, Hannu Mikkola, Henri Toivonen and er.........Ken Block ...don't think so!

Amazing how many people slag him off yet couldn't ever get close to doing the same stuff themselves and no, a wheelspin in B&Q's car-park doesn't quite compare. His Focus is also 2 years older than the competition.

I couldn't hope to govern a country yet, I still have the right to slate the Government. Block is of course not without a little talent (and I will doff my cap to that), yet he can't seem to compete in a 'real world' racing environment.
Let's stick him in a 2WD, front-heavy, 30-year-old German sporting saloon and see how quick he is around a track say, in a County Championship...

I'm not slagging him off as such i'm just saying that its sad that the under 25's out there all think he's a driving god cos he can do doughnuts round some road cones.
His car contol is excellent but he's hardly a driving genuis with balls of steel.

I have to agree. My 19 year old nephew thinks he is the best thing since sliced bread, and lets be fair, his car control is awesome. However, as you rightfully say, he couldn't win a race against a one legged donkey with a limp!!

Re: Gymkhana.. Absolutely insane driving
It's an age thing I guess? I used to think I'd look cool wheel spinning my Mk3 Cortina out of T-junctions. In fact, I looked a bit of a knob much like the Saxo/McDonalds kids of today. There was a funny craze of jacking up the rear end of the car and having a red light shining on the diff too. F**k knows what that was all about?
