Funny you should say that cos a few of us were thinking the same thing. We saw that the mags have run a few features with e21's this year. I think I saw 3 with the orange 323 in! We were thinking that 02's are just way to much but these are still cheap. Well they were anyway. There's a few at nearly five grand now. I'd best get one while I've still got enuf dough! I'm watching ebay for a nice, solid 323!

welcome, if you are buying one, theres only ever choice of rusty / knackered or very mint!

a 323i is a bit of a struggle, bit rare and cost more. they are rising in price though.so get your skates on. you defo need to make sure you look underneath, these cars can be really rusty.

I ended up buying a minter 316 and then upgrading it.
that guy who owns the Orange one is pretty much a celebrity in the old school magazines, might have to get his autograph!

Gonna be watchin on ebay.

Got a good budget I spose but not just gonna throw cash at it. My mates have built some nice motors and not anywhere close to £12k each! I'll get some photos up soon.

I just wanna build an old school car really. If I wanted angel eyes, vadars etc I would have gone all e36 like me mates. No thanks.

How did he get that orange car in so many mags? Must admit the paint looks awesome! minilites looks good to. Not seen many BM's with minilites on. Fave car on here is Nas car tho. Love the look. 8)

Got asked at a few shows apart from Practical Performance Car magazine who I mailed and asked to be put forward for their car clinic feature. You can always try mailing the editors once your cars ready although they usually seek out the cars that catch their eyes.

Paint was done by a previous owner and even though its nearly 3 years old it still looks like new. Quality paint and lots of prep work are the key. The wheels are actually Panasport although do look like Minilites. They're 3 piece magnesium split-rims and all 4 weigh about the same as a single regular alloy. I got them as I wanted something a bit different to cross-spokes. I think BBS etc look awesome tho and suit e21's. Modern rims just look odd imo. If you want Nas' autograph I think he sells them on e-bay? :)
