I used the Head of the E-30 L-Jetronic Fuel Injection with the M10B20 block,
below are some of the pictures of the process:
1-

The new engine in my car trank
2-

The M10B20 engine coming out of E-21 imported from USA

3-

My engine bay with the M10B18, before the swap.
4-

The original Cusco custom fabricated upper front strut bar
5-

The hood is out of the car

6-

The M10B18 block, you can see the pistons has a very little high dish .... I made a piston rings test (by putting you finger on each piston & try to move it left & right) ... it moved to both sides, which means that the pistons rings were damaged

7-

combustion size .... after measuring .... valves in both heads were equal ... the only difference is in the combustion shape .... i don`t know if there is a difference in combustion height ???
8-

The valves of the M10B20 E-21 original head, you can see the difference in the combustion shape .... but valves are equal as i said ... also the diameter of both combustions were the same.
9-

The M10B20 pistons .... as you see ... super flat ...also darker in color ... and i made the piston rings check .... rings look to be very fine.

This is the new Head Gasket i bought, i check the internet, the manufacturer seems to be very well known in UK & the gasket itself looked very well made ... i hope it stands for mid boost 12 PSI

The new Release Bearing, and shiiiiit ... since yesterday .. i hear a very loud sound coming out of the gearbox .... even when i press the clutch pedal the sound still there ..... do anyone know the reason :S:S:S:S
-------------------------------------
After everything was in the right place .... while i was the responsible of all the electrical issue`s.
I started the engine for the first time ... alot of oil burning came out of the exhaust ... of course because we used oil to put the head gasket and also we cleaned the engine & combustion chamber with oil and fuel.
Then the engine became balanced at 900 RPM after a while .... i checked if the oil pump light has switched of ... and it was ... so i was happy
I had the first run with the engine .... in the first 5 minutes ... i didn`t feel like there is a clear difference....but today morning when i took the car to go work .... i started to feel the torque of the 2.0L M10 .... a hell of a torque in comparison of the M10B18 .... specially in the 3500-5000 RPM range.
When revving the engine .... it was clear that the L-Jetronic Fuel Injection system is not that much supporting the M10B20 ..... the engine needs more air and fuel .... you feel like the engine wants to run but can`t perform it.
I will be using Mega Squirt soon ... maybe by next week i hope.
i am not sure about the compression ratio ... but everyone says 8.1 : 1 .... if this is true ... then welcome my Turbo Project with the 17 PSI
Thanks everyone & i would love to have your feedback
