Re: Superflex Rear camber set?
Not worth the effort imo. I binned mine and opted for the regular options.

@ Jason
Can the camber plates that Dan does be used on the E21, as those offer a load of camber.

Re: Superflex Rear camber set?
the plates you weld on to the rear beam are around £50 i think. the e39 bolts are around £9 each x4. plus you need to slot the holes to match the plates before you weld them on.
tho if you have lots of power, a low car and use it properly it wont stop you breaking inner cv joints.

How do you survive with all your drifting??
Does it affect the way you deliver your power?

Re: Superflex Rear camber set?
tbh i think the cause for most cv joint fails is the way the diff is mounted, it could be that the shafts fail because the diff prolly is thrashing about.
i did the rear camber plates myself (with some help from my friends), you need a plasma cutter to make it easy, i wouldnt wanna try cutting the solts in the beam any other way tbh it will take forever!

Re: Superflex Rear camber set?
ive broke 3 joints up to now. one outer and two inners i think.
when the cars lowered too much the joints dont sit at right angles to the shaft. so when the shaft rotates the balls have to move in the channels. under power this causes the cage in the joint to split in 2. all three joints ive broke have gone in the same way.
i have 1 full spare drive shaft.... i take it with me to drift days!
also have a joint spare too. to make a full shaft again out of one with a broke joint on it.

You Hero!!!
So basically, if the car is lowered to a point, there should be no problems?
What is a safe drop on these, I know E30's are 30mm before all the shit starts to happen.
