BMW emergency fuel can - erm emergency!

Post by arshad76 »

I have had one of these in storage for absolutely ages. With my car boot a rather nice place to be in, I thought I'd fit it. Except it doesn't fit around the E21 wheel turret! I know it's for a 15" spare wheel, but does anyone have one? No way to make it fit? If not it's going on ebay!

I know, I sold one couple of years ago that was old and had surface rust for £75. Thought the buyer would have been peeved, but he even left me a positive! I got this from America, so shipping and everything meister, you can have it for the same price £60 + post if you want it. If you then go and sell it on ebay for more I WILL hurt you

Oh and thanks, that clears things up. No point having this on my E21 then.

I think my worst E21 desirable parts blunder was to watch a BBS spoiler and 13" Mahles go for scrap along with the car. No tools to take them off at the time :(

Although listed as an accessorie for the E21 I never figured how it will fit the E21. First as arshad76 said it is 14 inches. The original rims are 13 inches. The other thing is that the spare rims are stored "outside up". You can't filp the rims over and store it into the spare wheel bay (at least I can't in my car).
