Windscreen and seal
Regarding the chrome trim part of the windscreen seal. If the seal is replaced can the trim part be taken from the old and used in the new ?

Got mine from BMW.It don't come cheap but it looks good.
Be careful with the little corner sections when removing.They bend if you look at them the wrong way.

Dont bother fitting old chrome trim cos when you take it out it comes out in cracked pieces, best order new chrome trim... ive change front and back when i had the E21, and when fitting the new seal, pack it with alot of silicone, and fit the rubber seal on the rim then fit the glass with a plastic spatula cos thats the only way to fit the screens in in the E21, no string is used to invert the rubber inside the window frame....
