I just received pictures from a guy who refurbished my BBS Mahles. Damn I'm so happy with the result. When I bought them they were in terrible condition, now with new paint and polished lips...

Wow! Never thought gold with a polished lip could look so beautiful. Mcineck do you know if the lips can get refurbed and repaired and then polished to look like yours? I might have a go with the MSW's i have some time

Yes as I mentioned mine wheels were in terrible condition. Lips were badly scractched, one had a dent. Guy who did this work had to fill the missing parts of aluminium on lips and then polish them.

I hope I can get pictures of wheels before so you can see how bad they were.

Thanks. Well luckily my Mahles lips are perfect, but MSW could do with a refurb. I can't stop looking at those pics really do look beautiful

It's some kind of "platin gold" but I don't know the paint brand or color code.

I bought used center caps and restored them. It's not perfect yet, I have to ask somebody to print new BBS stickers.

You can still buy brand new BMW Motorsport centre caps & stickers from main dealer that would look really nice.
