hi everyone,

sorry havent been on here in a while, been messing about with other cars and forums as the E21 is looking a little sad at the momment have lost inspiration to work on it

after the ol £999 challenge i eventually sold the green car for much less than i really wanted for it and all the bits and in overall was unsatisfied with the way it peformed at the £999 challange and the snapping of drive shafts

have recently bought a VR6 passat estate which im trying to sell on if anyone is looking for a fast retro work van

Also just bought my new £999 car - a 1981 mk1 polo coupe with 28k on the clock, i plan on supercharging it, striping it, slamming it, bit of giggle gas. car weighs 685kg - i think i can shave some more of that personally

The white car hasnt had any work for a while as needs a very large cash injection which i just dont have at the momment. would prob even consider selling it if anyone is interested in a project. got a lot of bits for it now just cant seem to get round to building it up.

well anyway i will try and make more of an appearance on here.

So you got into dubs now. Ihad a passat b3 wagon when i first passed, and when i had my RX7 i used a mk2 polo Ranger as my daily, have had a G60 corrado and some modern VAGS (bora / b4 passat / Audi A6 TDI V6 etc) my mk2 polo was a lot of fun, I bought it for £200 so i didnt mind bashing obsticles in the road (trafic cones, big boxes / driving it at high speeds over rough fields / doing jumps over a hump back bridge . etc etc even other road users had to "move it or lose it!". lol

My friend has a minted red mk1 polo show car and I have often thought about swapping my e21 for it, and then with the extra money id have getting hold of a g40 to fit in there.

However.. I have to first enjoy my e21 before I can get rid.

You havent missed much on here to be honest. Some of us are going to the sharknose meet in Holland in June (check the meetings section) I think you should pull your finger out, finish your e21 and bring it along as we are also going to be doing a 'ring trip, which i think would be right up your street?
