Beste mede E21'enaren,
Ik vroeg mij af welke olie ik moet hebben om mijn geliefde e21 320 4 cilinder met carbarateur goed te houden. Nou staat in de vraagbaak 10w40. Maar moet ik dan syntetisch of minerale olie gebruiken?

Gewoon een goede kwaliteit multigrade olie. Inderdaad kun je 10w40 nemen maar ietsje dikker mag ook.

Multigrade is een natuurlijke olie.
Als je voor synthetisch zou gaan dan zou ik er geen vol synthetisch in doen maar een semi-synthetisch.

Ik zou er lekker mineraal in kwakken. Blijft lekker plakkerig, synthetisch maakt veel te veel schoon als je het mij vraagt.
Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car. Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall. Torque is how far you take the wall with you.

Denk idd ook mineraal of halfsyntheet en dan 15W40 ofzo. Hoeft voor de doorsnee M10 of M20 allemaal niet heel bijzonder te zijn.

Als je Cees van het e23 hier over vraagt krijg je het zelfde antwoord. M10 en M30 blokken zijn zeer nauw aan elkaar verwant.
Destijds (nieuw) was de olie van veel slechtere kwaliteit. Je kan er dus nu redelijk goedkope shit ingooien, maar liefst mineraal.
Mag ook best een beetje dikker zijn. Met name voor de koude start is mineraal veel beter omdat het veel langer bovenin blijft 'plakken'.

Iets van 20W40 of 50.
Moet je nagaan als je van die dunne pis als 10W40 er in zou gooien..
Toch vind ik specifiek bij jou dat je toch echt een temporarily e21je er bij moet hebben hoor.
Ik zou jou echt missen als je niet mee kan rijden met de meetings die op stapel staan.
Iets van 20W40 of 50.

Idd Buurman koop een goedkoop hok om mee te kunnen op meetings .. moet maar aan 2 eisen voldoen .. een e21 en dan liefst eentje met minder oliedorst

Koop dan vast een goed blok, hang dat er in. Dit seizoen lekker rijden en in oktober gelijk beginnen met de werkzaamheden.
