Post by DrGonzoPOW »

Got a friend who's looking at one of these on the weekend. What are common faults/problems on these cars, and what should we be looking out for ?? Cheers

Footwells were actually not that bad. It was the rust between floorpan and sill that was the real problem.

Guess there wont be much we can do really cuz i guess to look for that it'd be a carpet up job. If the cars as good as it looks though its going to be awesome!

Don't build your hopes up!I had a "good one" in 1990 and it was a bit of a rotter, that was twenty years ago. They tend to rust from the inside out.Top car if half decent though.Good luck......
There's one out there with my name on it.

Went to see it today. Absolute gorgeous car. Hardly a spot of rust on it. We looked it over with a fine tooth comb and other than the back box blowing its mint. Tempted myself but i guess its not right cheating on your mates :D
