Hello all, just got my new 79' 320i (US ver.) home last night. I'm sure I will have tons of questions in the future but for starters, an easy one. Where on earth was the radio antenna at?

Hi & welcome, i think you'll find its in between the wing(fender) & the scuttle drivers side lhd models

ok, found it, and the 18 inches of coax left 
well back to the drawing board. guess it will be a custom job now.
