There are two E3's local to me.One is a White LHD that has been for sale on various sites for a few months. It seems pretty solid. The other is under a tarp, with Chromadoras pocking out the bottom.I don't know anythimg about it but i'd be happy to give the guy a knock.I'm away till the 6th so if you go to Germunchen in the meantime...............

There's one out there with my name on it.

Gaz that would be much appreciated. Any leads I can get into sourcing a good one of these would be really helpful at the moment. I've convinced myself out of the one in Germany. It really needs to be a runner capable of being driven back to Manchester. Otherwise I think it will be too expensive/much of a hassle to tow one back.

Anyway, no rush the 6th is fine :shake

Yes, I didn't see it on first glance. Looks an absolute beauty and this one I am going to have to see and I have an uncle in Bradford. With about £2-3K spent on it it could quite relaistically look like this

I'll keep everyone posted anyway - just need to find £4k now :D

That's lovely. I nearly bought my old Sahara e3 back last week but it needs new wings.

Just found a pair of wings too but think it's been sold. They're lovely cars though. I had a 3.0si that I bought for £400 when no-one wanted them. Quick for such a big car.

Had a word with the guy, seemed honest enough. Arranged a mate to come look at with me before buying it and it's just been sold - gutted! Oh well not meant to be I guess.

The Beige one on ebay is in Cheadle so rather near me if you want to go and peek at it over the weekend.

Thanks again for the offer Jim. I'm going to keep my fingers crossed for tomorrow re: another one. If that falls through I'll make an appointment to see this. I actually phoned the guy with the beige one yesterday to ask about it. He seemed o.k and happy to let me view it.

I'll give you a tinkle Saturday if I decide to go for it.

Blue one definitely sold - gutted! Going to view the beige one tomorrow at around 10am. If you can make it then text me in the morning Jim and I'll either meet you there or pick you up. The guy has a few other classic BMWs apparently, including a 2002 and a 2000.
