Just noticed that one of my headlights has smashed! Luckily I got a pair of NOS for eight quid so it looks like my Sunday morning is going to involve me fitting them!

Played around with sticky back plastic in an effort to brighten up the bodywork. I was thinking of going right over the roof and bonnet too?

Trust me, I don't WANT to do it! My MOT is on Monday and it looks like the indicator and light circuits are gone. I really hope it something simple!!

I've had a look at all the contacts, I think they're ok. I think it's all going wrong underneath the dash, it's all hacked about with various wires coming down - the ignition is currently hotwired... I don't do electrics so my mate's having a look at it tonight, fingers crossed its a simple fix.

Swapped short 323 dipstick & tube for a nice, new e30 one. Sixty quid for that and cam cover vent pipe! The old one was a pig to get out too! Also cleaned up the plug connectors on the loom with some contact cleaner. Definately going to give the engine bay wiring a clean-up and replace wherever possible.

drove from near southampton, to chippenham, then on to past cardiff. overall about 150 miles. sat at 80 or so the whole trip once the fluids had thoroughly warmed up and it didn't miss a beat.

that was after driving from just past cardiff to near southampton on friday night (no stop at chippenham so 140 miles non-stop). i've done about 320 miles in it since 8pm friday :)

now it's back to being parked up for days on end.

Ross.

Picked up my ALPINA exhaust system. Had a friend of my bring it to norway, so I got a look at it to day. Its one new rear silencer and the other one in good shape. Front pipes are new and the rest is also in good shape. Take some photos soon.

Spot on! Since ive relocated the battery the main fusebox earth cable was loose. Rusty fuses didnt help either! Only problem now though is the hazard system, switch and relay are fine but only the nearside indicators flash, all indicators work normally through the stalk. I can get them all to flash if i use the hazard switch and indicate right... any ideas before 1pm??

10pm-3am session finishing the car up tonight. Place bets, will the e21 pass its mot today?!
