Nice updates, and Mark's car really shines like a dog's privates in the moonlight

I finally got myself to doing something again as well. Checked life behind the rear seat of the Baur for the first time and I wasn't disappointed!

Planning to replace the pads on the Wilwoods brakes this week by Ferodo DS2500 examples and then I'll start on replacing the last fuel hose (the breather hose on top of the left hand side fuel tank) and fit my refurbished Alpina rear sway bar! :banana

The white stuff is the glue used to attach the isolation material.

My Baur is the same, no holes there. Maybe the conversion changed something around the rear arch, or maybe we are just lucky!

Drilled and pop riveted carbonfibre door cards in the race car. It looks much nicer in there now.

Changed various bulbs on the Bride as need to get a few things done for the MOT. Changing a passenger high beam bulb, on a car with wash/wipe, with the battery in it's original position is an exercise in patience...
Brake pads and track rod ends next.

Last night I fixed my brakes and took my car for a drive, I also found out I don't have the right steering wheel boss for my new steering wheel!

Today I broke a new track rod end so I'll need another. Then I assembled the jigsaw of exhaust bits I had and welded a bracket to the drivers side of the boot floor to hold the back box on that side (car previously a 320 so no bracket there). Cut the pipe off the rusty drivers side back box I got from Nas and welded the pipe/flange to the stainless box from Rob. All ready to go together when I get the underside undersealed and get the manifold to downpipe gaskets.

Really am happy today. Have finally got my electric mirrors sorted. It's been 8 years! Roll on the door cards and a cosier interior!

Day before, Mark sent me some new centrecaps for my Mahles and the motorsport stickers. Can't wait to put these on :banana
