cracked front rotor

i just lowered my e21 and as i was reassembling the front right strut i noticed the brake rotor was badly cracked. i had to drive the car out of the garage and when i did the wheel was rolling very unevenly. i am worried that i may have bent or damaged the stub axle but the axle seems to be straight as far as my eye can tell. has anyone had a similar problem? also what is a good way to check whether a stub is bent and what is the solution for fixing it if it is damaged? thanks : )

Buy a runout gauge to check its wobblyness.

Or take it to a garage and get wheel alignment done.

Cheapest way is to put the wheel on and use a spirit level?
