Yeah man, i forgot what a cool car it is, its been under cover for so long! That workshop is quality! Need to beef up the security a bit though. Will be many mornings spent in there from now on.

The guy I bought my welder from had a near new one for £100.

Your workshop does look great. I'm lovin' having somewhere I can go and tinker no matter what the weather. :thumbsup

Yeah, its all alarmed along with the landlords workshop next door. Yale do an easy to fit alarm for around £100 that looks pretty good.

Drop the prop off at front & remove centre bearing, then bellhousing bolts. Take box weight on trolley jack then remove mount and slide it out.

might be easier to take engine and box out at the same time, then split them when its on the floor.

its quite easy to just leave the box in the car. much easier then angling the engine and box to wiggle them out/in together.
its was a ball ache getting dr jims back in together.

That's what I was thinking. M20's are heavy enough on their own!

the only thing id say is to take out the slave cylinder before splittng the engine and box. and support the front of the box with a jack.

oh and put the 320/6 flywheel on the e30 engine. its waaaaay lighter than the e30 flywheel!

This was done on my race car and feels much more responsive.
