thats a bloody nice e30! nice work.

I use 15x7 MTI 3 piece wheels. I never heard of them either, before i bought them from some polish geezer. All I know is that they are manufactured in the mid 80's, they are very light, and really well built, the center caps are cast iron! they have stainless steel rims and are et20 - I used 11mm hubcentric spacers, and 20mm hubcentric on the back. Seems extreme but i didnt want to splash out on dishes just yet as i need to tart up the rest.

There is only a few mm between the Track rod and the edge of the wheel. The et13 offset is a pain tbh.

I'm based near Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire. Although I have been to the Brands area in it. How long ago did you see it?

A while back now. Maybe it was the previous owner? Might have been at Eta Motorsport?

Think I'm going to do my spare MiMs satin black like yours Murran. I did think of flogging them but makes sense to keep them as spares for the race car. Especially as they've got 888's on.

i think some time this summer, if i can afford it, i'll put winter tyres on my original steelies, and put them on come november time. this december was a nightmare trying to travel back home from uni!!! worst driving conditions i'd ever done. would have been so much better with proper winter tyres instead of toyo proxes

Definitely. I was on original steelies.. Had a couple of wild moments, but overall a much better experience than my old clio with massive alloys!

alright smarty pants  my old steelies with winter tyres should do me ok :D still dreaming of a 535i though....! however, the fact i'm doing f*** all miles at uni now means it's just not worth it until i finish. will keep the E21, and keep it well serviced still. it was epically reliable this winter. didn't let me down once, even when it was sat outside doing nothing for 2 weeks, covered in snow, looking sorry for itself, it still started within a couple of seconds, every time. didn't miss a beat....was fantastic :D

hope all well your end rob. oh, and FWIW, i'm looking at getting my lights re-chromed instead of changing to 323/320 lights. my dad uses a company that should be able to do it (they said....if it's metal, they can do it) and i can get it billed to his works  happy days.

Ross.

MSW (gold) 13 inch. Paid $500 USD for the 4 back in 1989. Overall I have been real happy with them as they look real good and it keeps me running stock tires.
