I take it we're talking about the roundel on the bonnet or boot.My advice,for what its worth,is to get some new little rubber reseptical grommet type things and just fit it as normal.If some dipshit decides to nick it then there's no damage.Fix it solid and they start with the tools.

No glue,they just sit there and even at 120mph they don't move

Ok, cool, where can I get hold of some of those rubber resptical grommets?

Double topic removed, with 2 grommets from the dealer that set you back abt 2p the badge will be secured in place again. Don't use glue.
