Well, I knew recaros would be better than the standard issue cloth seats, but I wasn't prepared for how much better!!
I picked up a set of black leather front recaro's from Andy205 on Friday and after a lot of fiddling with the runners managed to get the drivers one fitted last night and took the car for a quick spin. The difference was unbelieveable - it was like driving a different car altogether! I've got some fairly firm Bilsteins with H&R sports springs on the car which made for a bouncy ride on the old seats, but with the recaros in place I feel like I'm part of the car rather than just floating around inside it! That short drive last night has been enough to convince me it's worth spending a bit on them to have them restored too!
Long live recaros!

Re: Recaro Convert
Lol with the stock seats u hit a bump then your still bouncing down the road even if its smooth until it peters out. Then you take a bend - you have to hold on for dear life!
