What starter are you using? I seem to recall something about 320/323 starters being different to e30 325 ones - which may be an issue for me once I try turning the key on my Baur - possibly this weekend depending on work.

Dunnar bought the starter, Sounds alright to me though??
Picking 325 chip up from the fella i got the engine off on Saturday hopefully.
Jim - We used the 325 one to start (smaller and lighter than E21) with but it was making a nasty noise so we changed it back to the E21 one. Not sure if it sounds ok or not personally

It does'nt sound like its grinding though. Will have a closer inspection on the weekend. Your using an E21 starter and flywheel right ?

Sorted that battery in boot job today Murran. Just turned out to be a crap earth. Wire brushed the top-mount stud and attached a cable to there. Bought a thicker cable from a breaker too. 5 quid for a big 5 meter piece, good price jimmy. Attached that fuel pump fuse inside the car, makes it a bit neater. Can put the interior back in now
On another note, the radios not working. Any idea's which wires that runs off ??

radio, nothing to do with what weve done. you got a live to the set? you tried giving the fuse a twist?

Couple of bits done today. Finished soldering all the wires and ran all the cables neatly through the cabin so all the interior could finally go back in

Battery in boot officially done and working

What you doing tomora Murran. You going up to Nas's to pick that radiator up ??
