When you guys say Mintex, are you talking about standard Mintex Pads, or the racing pads M material pads they do?
I only ask, because I have an account with Mintex but dropped them last yr and moved to delphi lockheed.
In my experience Mintex is a well known brand, but not neccesarily the best pads on the market (as everyone thinks)
I currently sell delphi lockheed and i think these are superior to mintex in quality.
In my opinion the best quality pads to buy on the aftermarket are TRW Lucas.
This is what I fit on my e21 anyway.
(im just talking about standard pads - not racing materials as I dont have experience with these e.g. ebc etc)

If anyone who does trackdays is thinking of using the wilwood fast road pads - DON'T!
Just had new clutch fitted to my car (release bearing grumbling and pressure plate playing up - 20 quid ebay clutch kit fitted initially, now has a proper one). Got my mechanic to check the brake pads and change as necessary while it was on the ramp.
Pads were down to 0.5mm apart from one that was almost on the backing plate.
They had done one trackday at Oulton and about 30-40 road miles.
The brake fluid reservoir for the front circuit was almost empty - it was all in the calipers!
Discs are as new, no noticeable wear, have fitted Wilwood race pads now, see how they go on at Croft
