Counted down another day till I go up north and get MIB back.
Postman brought a couple of bits for the TWR. A set of M5 ITB'S and adaptor plate.
Close ratio gearbox is on route for the track car too.

Train booked for Saturday July 2nd
Re: What did you do to your E21 today?
I'm on call that weekend and cannot swap it around. At most you can drive across to Manchester and meet me in the hospital car park. Bugger.
I managed to get the ECU wiring secured through the bulkhead. Pillar drill and much messing around to find holesaws big/sharp enough, and I made a big washer to go around the grommet thing. Messed around for ages trying to fit it in the engine bay with the grommet through the bulkhead as it was designed to be (my hole is a bit too big for it to just fit). Then pulled the whole grommet through and fitted the metal bit on the inside clamping it in place. Took ages to do but I can now put the glovebox and passenger seat in. Will have a couple of hours tomorrow before going to work - I'm supposed to be on holiday but a convenient accident to one of my colleagues has coincided with our boiler springing a leak. I need money, work need me!

Yesterday it was: Front disc brake calipers and brakes finally replaced by Brembo alloy calipers and ventilated discs... Can't wait to drive and see the difference (if any easy-to-see, difference in driving feeling???)

Re: What did you do to your E21 today?
Started stripping out the remains of the dash in the track car and am going to replicate the old Group 5 dash with internal fuses etc. I need to get a wiring diagram for the Stack display too. Fitting close ratio dog-leg gearbox & Compomotive split-rims / Toyo888's. I'm booked in to do the Retro Car track-evening @ Brands on August 1st and Dave from E21 Revival is taking his car too. He's a bit quick around Brands so hopefully I can keep up without going off at Paddock Hill - again.
Been working on this too.

Re: What did you do to your E21 today?
Removed left rear light, sanded down a few of the rust spots and painted it with anti rust paint. Another coat to go and then a touch of of original paint anywhere that could be visible once the lights go back on.
Worst part about Monday is that I won't be able to drive my beloved E21 (should be back on the road on Tuesday or Wednesday).
