What Track Control Arms?

Hi, just got a e21 and thought id join this forum

I need to replace my ball joints, from looking round it seems like you need to buy new track control arms as i cant find the ball joints separately and this would be the easiest method.

Where is the best place to get them from?

Looking at arms on ebay it seems like they vary for every model and year? but in other shops its more general saying one track control arms fits all years and models?

I already have new bushings where the roll bar joins the arm so i would rather get arms without this part.

Any help on this would be great.

My car is '83, 316, 1.8

There are 2 types and yours in the later.

arms are all the same just the pre-facelift (75-79ish)and post-facelift (79ish-83) the bush in the middle to the antiroll bar is the difference. i dunno why the idiots on ebay list them like that.....

your is the post-facelift obviously.
the ones i got from the seller "car-doctor" i think it was were good quality.....
its them ebay sellers that bought gsf/ecp stock when they decided to stop doing them!
