Well - hopefully - today's the day that MIB should be ready for the first drive under it's own M52 power!
Just waiting on the call from Mr Nas.

Re: Mark's M52/2.8
Car had to go back to the exhaust fab shop after the new system was damaged getting the car onto the low loader. Obviously neither Mr Nas or myself were too chuffed. Anyway, it's now looking like it'll be Monday of next week till the damage is put right and the cars ready to be collected again. I think I'm gonna have to miss Santa Pod BMW show.
Got some saucy rubber for the track car today. There were several compounds available but I opted for a mid-range one as opposed to the super sticky or hardest. Mind you, it's still a far bit softer than the old 888's.

Re: Mark's M52/2.8
Well Nas just text me and evidently they already repaired it and are just finishing some alterations to the front pipe. Nas is going to inspect their work in the morning but hopefully it'll be right this time?!
Re: Mark's M52/2.8
Yea i was pretty annoyed about what happened.
luckily though they promised it will be ready for me to collect tomorrow.
i still have a few odds and ends and will be able to thoroughly test the car is perfectly reliable and iron out any issues. its been a while longer then i expected to finish but has taken half the time mine took to do so far.
