info e21 m50b25 rear subframe

hi guys,

To get any help i've read a lot on the internet about the 'famous' engine swap with an m50b25. but i've heard something about putting an e34 5 series rear subframe under an e21 type 2. Does anyone know more about this? I would appreciate some help

Never heard of that, what you do need is an e34 m50 sump to fit the m50 engine into the e21 shell

Well im going to put in the m50b25 gearbox to so i will have to make a diff fit on the rear sub of the e21. My boss told me he did it that way but he wasnt sure. Imma put photos online when i figured out how to solve this problems

why not make a 9 point star on your driveshaft with a sensor on it?

you also need to fit a e30 speedometer in your dash, and connect the right wire to the m50 ecu, otherwise it won't run like it should

I think the black m60 V8 e21 had an e34 diff.
